like, ASLL is told from Sascha's perspective, OotR is told from Mute's, and then BotL is a Mute flashback. it's not like normal chapters where the story keeps moving forward, it jumps around and changes style in each chapter. so idk if that 'works' in chapter format??? maybe it's too disorienting?

Happy Monday, Bluesky!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up to BOTL for rampant phone scams! If you get a text saying you've been charged/owe money/have been scammed, etc. that includes a phone #, DON'T call the #! Look up the REAL # of the bank or business involved, and report the scam! 💙🦋

Considerations : A 15kg bottle of lpg will last a month or so if used a lot daily, but it's a lot of energy in a very small space. Very practical. Bottle is about 100e, then another 100+ euros for the heater, plus 30+ euros for filling the botl (country dependent so wild guess, it's that much here).

I haven't done cassettes since Blood On The Lens because life got in the way, sure
but the actual reason that I've not prioritized it is because I have no sense at all if a run of, say, 25 tapes will sell out in a couple weeks like BOTL did or sit in my room gathering dust, making me feel like shit

I've said it before, but it bears repeating, I do alright by, like, diy music standards. when I tell people numbers, the response is normally "oh wow, nice", which feels good
but I worry that my outward confidence about the quality of my work obscures that this is still very much minor league shit

like, to be transparent, the album has sold 18 copies and brought in a little over $200 to get me into that spot. this is a major personal victory because I'm on charting next to some girls who I consider fully out of my league, but I'm still far from making "paying bills" money off of any of my art

I guess, in some sense, Tied is my debut full-length (non- Blood On The Lens) album
it feels a little rude to BOTL to call it that, but I just might do it anyway

I have a couple at 200, but, unless it's in the songs that aren't listed on this spreadsheet (Swallow/Spit and BOTL Part 3), I don't think I've ever landed on 210

We're batty for bats at the Linnean Society (thanks to our Journal Officer), but did you know that boababs were too? Here, the impact of different floral visitors on floral traits of African boababs was studied, finding regional differences matching foraging behaviour! 🦇🧪
