♻️ That bag of bottles and cans sitting in your garage isn’t going to return itself.
But it CAN help a bunch of cats. 😉
Read how in the attached graphics.

We have blue @oregonbottledrop.bsky.social bags available at #PetTime / #HometownPets or you can drop cans off & we can rebag them if needed!
PS. All kittens in the picture are available for adoption if you need a drinking buddy!

at my closest store, they have the bottledrop machine that prints out store credit not by the customer service desk or near the front of the store where you would expect, but in the most inconvenient place behind the registers RIGHT by the receipt checker

Another day, another person on my #Portland NA facebook group (which I'm not even in, as it's Not For Renters(tm) but you know how it comes up as suggested) discussing violence against BottleDrop users.

What the fuck is wrong with you people?

This is what one #TNR fee looks like in #CansandBottles #Recyclable form.
Thank you to our fabulous volunteers, fosters & donors that help us each & every day to make the lives of felines better!

My mom doesn't really text me much anymore, mostly to just say that she dropped another bag of bottles/cans for me at bottledrop. Which i guess is fine, since we dont really have a good relationship anymore, but still kind of weird I guess that she wouldn't reach out more 🤷‍♂️ so be it I suppose

...is against the NA's own bylaws, but because it's someone's fiefdom it just turns into "issue angry press releases about the bottledrop" rather than any actual neighborhood involvement. I live reasonably close to said bottledrop and there have been open fantasies of violence by posters toward>

My equivalent of storing random cash under my mattress for emergencies is my bottledrop account.

The Portland Hostel is collecting refundable cans and bottles for Blanchet House this month using coded Oregon BottleDrop Blue Bags! Did you know that they also have a delicious full-menu cafe? Yum. Stop by the hostel for lunch or pick up a blue bag from Blanchet House to collect your own cans.

Vikki Payne’s crusade against the Hazelwood BottleDrop looks like a win for "neighborhood livability," but it’s just the tough-on-crime playbook from her Safer Portland Initiative. Flooding the streets with more police will magically fix everything, right? www.oregonlive.com/opinion/2026...

Sometimes I don't go somewhere for a few years in Portland and I have to wonder if when people talk shit about it if it's actually gotten worse or not.

This is about the bottledrop on 122nd.

Random thought I had, but bottle and can recycling and collection facilities are the most odd places on Earth in terms of the sheer, fascinating satisfaction they offer.

Does the cosmos and the worlds inside our bodies have any sort of equivalent?

The closure of Portland's Delta Park BottleDrop is creating winners and losers overnight—customers are left searching for answers while nearby businesses say it's a welcome change.

Was shutting it down the right move!?

I return my green bags to the BottleDrop, @councilordanryan.bsky.social. It's disgusting that you can't seem to control the racist hordes you courted voting for you for long enough to be professional about something.

Your constituents are suborning violence, Dan. What the fuck is wrong with you?

I have successfully adulted TWICE today. Took the cans and bottles in to the bottledrop, and took my car in for oil change and tire rotation. \o/ Also, did some prep research for buying new tires next year. (Gotta watch for the buy 3 get one free sale.)

We tested AI on the Oregon Hidden Bottle Hunt clues. It wasn't even close.
