What a place for a conference on #boundstates

On my way to St. Goar to our workshop on #BoundStates in and beyond the standard model.

Our workshop covers #boundstates from many angles: nuclear, hadrons, and beyond the standard model - and of course what experiment tells us about them.

Researchers present a unified scattering-matrix approach based on Bloch waves that explains light confinement phenomena including bound states in the continuum (BICs) in periodic photonic structures, simplifying design of resonators and lasers.
