I watch those reality tv shows ring.com on YT. 99% of ALL breakins happen via them just walking up & opening the door. Not much good a camera can do if you don't lock the door to begin with so good thing you're in that habit! 👍☑️

Businesses in Canberra's Fyshwick industrial area have suffered significant damage following a series of early morning break-ins involving ram raids. The incidents, which occurred between 3:55am and 4:40am on Monday, October 12, 2026, targeted two adjacent businesses on Wollongong Street. Canberra Tyres, owned by Jas Singh, was broken into around 4:00am after a security alert showed a lone burglar driving a white Mitsubishi Pajero into the roller door. The business lost tools, scanners, equipment, and approximately $3,000 from the cash register. Just 25 minutes earlier, a computer shop named MSY next door had been targeted, with the burglar smashing through a metal gate to steal high-value items including a $10,000 graphics card. Police confirmed the white Ford Ranger used in the MSY burglary was reported stolen from Kambah, and the vehicle was later found burnt near Kambah Pool Road at 4:40am. The burglar's vehicle, a white Mitsubishi Pajero, remains at large. Business owners reported ongoing disruptions, with Canberra Tyres unable to accept customers due to the damaged entrance. Mr Singh noted that previous owners had warned about repeated break-ins in the area, and the business had only been open for six months. Police are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage from the early morning incidents. The attacks highlight ongoing security concerns in the Fyshwick industrial zone, with business owners left to deal with repair costs and the emotional toll of repeated criminal activity.
