Today's spotlight is on an anonymous PhD student at IMB UQ who specialises in spatial transcriptomics spends a typical day looking after plants, preparing for cryo sections, procrastinating, writing a few lines of literature and breaking up with the lab a couple of times.

A typical day includes dog walks, tea, PhD project, event organisation, committee meetings, and sports (buhurt) training. “I compete at a national and international level.”
