Forgot the alt text the first time
Seeing the lights should have excited me, just like it had the first time. There was power here, even if I wasn’t sure how much. There were bruises here. A bit of blood splattered on the floor, some shelves knocked to the ground and a monitor with a broken screen. My steps stuttered as I walked, taking in the scene. Bending down, I plucked a lonely novel from the ground. The paper cover had been torn, and many pages were creased or folded, but it was still legible. Wasting energy, I went to work. For what seemed like hours, like a man on a mission, I picked up as much of the space as I could. There was no way to figure out where every title was intended to be housed, but with the many returned carts available, I stacked them as neatly as possible. Leaning and topped shelves were erected to their full pride while toys and instruments were scootched to the side. Every stray page left unattended, without house or home, without the jacketing that came with a cover, broke a brothas heart. Before I knew it, I was leaning against a wall, barely keeping my legs from shaking while I slumped down the length of it using my back. It was plenty enough chairs in the room, but I had wasted too much energy in my manic cleaning montage to even crawl over to one. Imagine me then trying – and no doubt failing – to readjust and climb into a seat. Out of the fucking question.

I had a serious accident because a jogger was running at speed the wrong way up a cycle lane in dark clothing at night, and I had to come off my bike to avoid hitting him. I had to have £1000s of dental work, was covered in bruises…

Surgery update- slept relatively normally for me. Some extra space was needed certainly. But slept pretty good

Removed that gauze on my chest. No blood at all. :) it’s really clean looking to other than the bruises where the inserts went in

All in all- happy. Wanna go home- see my wife tho.

Whew, going thru it but be grateful for work and earning money, right? Guest dog stayed 2 weeks, left a week ago but owner has not paid. Walking new dog 2x a day-adorable 85lb puppy-who has tantrums and bites me.
