A Budget to tax extreme wealth and profits and make the UK affordable.

That is what a Green Chancellor would do.

There is *literally* a fuel duty* cut in the budget
I earn £30,000. I'm angry there was no fuel duty cut in the Budget

Today’s budget looks like being worse for our future and the young than even anything Starmer came up with.

A budget based on approval of mass new oil drilling is a betrayal of our future.
Almost 600 scientists, ecologists, health professionals and more have called on Andy Burnham to reject the re-submitted application for drilling Rosebank

The science is abundantly clear - we cannot open new oil and gas fields.

Labour left wealth taxes out of the Budget.

It's time to tax the super-rich fairly.

Healey’s Budget Disaster. This was a terrible budget, terribly presented, that did precisely nothing of consequence for almost anyone. So what are Healey and Burnham up to, other than not a lot? youtu.be/r4p9EY_JHvI?...

John Healey reportedly including revenues from the not-yet-approved Rosebank oil field to fund his Budget would mean paying for this Budget with the health and security of ordinary working families and their children.

China’s first AI-generated theatrical film, ‘Sanxingdui: Future Past’, has bombed at their domestic box office, only making $121,000 USD against a budget of $1.5M USD.

In contrast, the crudely animated ‘Niu Lai’ made nearly $10M USD against a budget of $200-500 USD.

Hold on but didn’t he say this👇about Liz Truss’s budget, after applauding her as PM.. you remember the budget that nearly destroyed the UK and added hundreds of pounds on mortgages

People thought the Budget was boring. Get used to it. What happened to local govt is happening to national. More and more liabilities. Fewer and fewer choices. The Budget is going the way of the state opening. All flummery, no reality.

Piece from me

The Budget was boring. What comes next won’t be.
National government is becoming local government. There’s just no choices any more.

This budget was a betrayal of our future; the Labour government chose protecting corporate profits over people and planet.
