Does the Greyhound racing industry have a stack of Polaroids locked in a drawer or is there some other explanation

Horse and greyhound fund up €3m in the budget, up to €102m - split €81.6m horseracing, €20.4m greyhound racing. In 2020, the fund stood at €84m, so it's gone up 21% over the past six years...

Which makes the housing and cost of living issues, absolutely #LGBTQIA #queer issues.

Cities are sanctuaries.

Dublin was, and is, the city that held me, took care of me & loved me as a young LGBTQIA+ person in the harsh climes of an awakening Ireland in the 1990s.

Such a marvellous place with people who forever changed my life 🙏🏽✌🏽🏳️‍🌈

Dublin City forever ❤️

I may have missed it, but I didn't hear anything in #Budget27 about storm preparedness, food security, or emergency planning.

They don't matter I suppose 🙃

Those who "get up early in the morning" and take public transport are going to have to pay significantly higher fares.

It would cost the government less money than they gave to the fast food giants in their budget last year to make public transport completely free and expand it...

What's the fuss? Why the surprise?
Conservative government delivers conservative budget.

We shouldn't be held hostage to the demands of US multinationals who use Ireland as a corporate tax haven.

This will end at some stage.

The government doesn't have a Plan B, which is why they're doubling down on offering up everything to big tech...

Average families will get increase in income of around 1.4%.

Inflation is running at over 3.5%.

Instead of protecting people from the cost of living crisis, this #Budget2027 is going to mean more deprivation, more poverty and a harder struggle to get by.

An "I'm all right Jack" budget.

#Budget2027 is for landlords, big business, and the armaments industry.

Nothing for ordinary people to overcome the massive cost of living crisis that continues to get worse.

More people strugglingto put food on the table and heat their homes.

A tenner a week for ordinary people in #Budget27 while corporations get €186 million in Capital Gains Tax reductions, €120 million in R&D tax credits.

And if you have a shedsit, it's now called a "Designated Auxiliary Dwelling" and you don't have to pay any taxes on it!

A disgrace.

The cost of disability is estimated by the government's commissioned report to be €10,000-€15,000 a year.

A temporary €500 "cost of disability payment" is nothing short of a sick joke.

It won't even undo the €1400 of cuts disabled people were hit with last year.
