Some thoughts on the new buildmode stuff:
Loving the modular nature of these simple windows, means I can use alt to place them together for multipl wall heights rather then being limited to just short walls

SV had exceptional windows, C+D came packing with all the other buildmode items to tie the look together. I still think Maxis needs to go back to delivering just one cohesive style rather then 2 or 3. Results in way better buildmode catalog, L+D is proof of that

Again, I love this concept of basing a kit around an iconic character (imagine a Crumplebottom kit!) but splitting it is just not working for me. The buildmode items are so good but i wanted more matching items, and the CAS was great but could stand on it's own. It just feels compromised

Decided to spend some time in build mode today now that I have my alt fletcherverse paras complete. I like the buildmode it just has the same problem every build mode in every game has for me: I get very tired and want for it to be over already so I can play 🥴

As someone who has been stuck in buildmode irl doing critical home repairs, juggling family, and desperately craving cc making but too tired to think at the end of the day..
My goodness some things just feel like a sign to breathe and give myself space to be the creative I am.
