One sandbox detail worth checking in any coding agent: where /tmp goes. In BenchSmoke's Codewhale test, a file written to /tmp inside the sandbox showed up in the machine's real /tmp, on both 0.10.1 and 0.10.2. Shared temp space can carry files out of the sandbox.

I miss the days when it was understood that fanfic was uncopyrightable, public domain stuff. It sucks that scrapers and scammers are able to sweat and clip the fanfic, but that's the price of (unauthorized) playing in someone else's sandbox.

Most writers and creators happily put up with fanfic because they like their fans and don't mind them playing around in the sandbox, but the quid pro quo is that fans understand that you *cannot copyright fanfic*.
I see there's someone suggesting people caught up in the AO3 takedown register the copyrights on their fanfic to protect it from scraping, etc, and, oh, boy, is this really not a great idea. I assure you that Disney, et al will not take kindly to that. "But they have to find out!" THEY WILL FIND OUT
