I have no problem taking time to explore puzzles and obstacles. But throw a bulletsponge enemy at me with pixel perfect moves required to beat and I’m looking for the easy/accessibility options.

Also Youngblood made me wonder if Machine Games forgot what made the previous Wolfenstein games fun to play, because it certainly wasn't having to level up to make damage numbers bigger so you can kill annoying bulletsponge enemies a bit faster.

my favourite bit is how they seemingly refuse to balance it to be fun to play. your only options are just trivially easy or everything has 10,000 health. and it can still be fun even on the stupid bulletsponge difficulty!

Two of my favourite live service games got updated yesterday
Destiny 2: Renegades was great. Incredible story, solid gameplay, a lot of fun
Fallout 76: Burning Springs had broken servers, a decent but unfinished story, and high damaging bulletsponge enemies that are just fucking annoying to fight

Their intense love and support for each other and dorky inside jokes reminded me of my nieces. There were some bulletsponge bosses but even those I thought were well done and challenging. I don't play on highest difficulty, so maybe they were worse higher up.

So 75gb to play gears of war 1 yet again, and they won't even let me cheat coz I could potentially play it online? First off, anticheat shit in single player modes? Bullshit. Secondly, I've played this game 5 times, I've earned the right to enjoy it on my own terms instead of bulletsponge mediocrity

I’ve technically finished this by using the glue gun to make a path to the escape pod. 😂
But I don’t count it.
Only thing I really dislike about this game is the bulletsponge enemies, kills my enthusiasm.

Who wants to live forever? Well, a surprising number of anime characters do! But how does that affect the stories they're in? Do the authors make good use of this, or is it the literary equivalent of a video game bulletsponge?
