Have yourselves a #painting. "Bunmahon" comes out of a time I was cycling along the Copper Coast in County Waterford after painting a picture of a wall in somebody's garden. Then a pair of boats in the mouth of the River Mahon entranced me. Good times. #SpeirGorm #FebruArty #ArtYear

A County Waterford #painting "Bunmahon" came out of a day I was cycling along the Copper Coast when two small boats having a conversation in the mouth of the Mahon river insisted I stop and think about life for a while. #SpéirGhorm #Art #TidesOutTuesday #ArtYear

Today's adventure - Bunmahon!

The improvement in rural public transport is one of the things I'm proudest of from our time in government. And proof-positive of the adage, 'if you build it, they will come.'

(The bus is packed with kids, and not just my tribe.)

Yeah, Waterford side of Stradbally if it’s the cove I’m thinking of. I would never have strayed past Bunmahon growing up but have gotten to swim out of coves a bit further west (like this one) in recent years.
