#birds #Branchbirds. A Burnhamthorpe warbler in my backyard in Cabbagetown, downtown Toronto. Almost warbler time once all the snow goes away and it goes above freezing. Enjoy!🇨🇦

Though Mississauga City Centre has the amenities of a major urban centre, it still has too many trappings of a suburban motorway.

More needs to be done to protect pedestrians and cyclists, especially along Burnhamthorpe Road.

Many many things are still happening behind the scenes.
Besides what's listed below. . we have #BikeTO work happening on Power St, Burnhamthorpe/Mill, Centennial Park ...
and more.
A nod of thanks to the unsung heroes behind Toronto’s Cycling and Pedestrian Projects Teams. So many of us in #BikeTO #WalkTO #AODA advocate on a daily basis, the need for our elected representatives to prioritize the safety of vulnerable road users.

This team continues to deliver. 1/2

Tragic news for the #BikeTO community. This latest death at Kipling and Burnhamthorpe makes it the sixth cyclist killed in Toronto this year and there's still four months to go. #shame #TOpoli #VisionZero #Etobicoke

The evening sun beginning to set makes the city look so good it's almost a crime not to take a picture.

And around Dixie, Burnhamthorpe, Cawthra, and Square One itself? Your plan does have it popping up above ground again. Has to exit somewhere.

Measles exposures at a library & 3 health care facilities

This is why people should be wearing a mask in public spaces

Not only does it protect immunocompromised people (some are not able to get the MMR vaxx), but also kids who didn’t get vaxxed

Immunocompromised lives matter

Mississauga: Street facing retail.
The ambiance on Confederation between Rathburn and Burnhamthorpe is miles away from the rest of its length.
QUESTION: What does your city need most to become a MUCH BETTER CITY FOR ITS PEOPLE, in 3 words or less? Name the city (doesn’t count in the 3 words), explain your answer(s) if you think it’s needed, and include images/graphics if it helps make your case.

Because there’s a lot of density and development around Square One/Mississauga City Centre and more concentration of development at nodes along Dundas and Burnhamthorpe. Makes as much sense as the Richmond Hill extension of Line 1 (which had the advantage of actually being centred around Bala Sub).
