The communications team received a Golden Post Award for the "Trains Don't Swerve" video series regarding collisions at crossings. It's almost like we should be removing as much of the crossings as possible if an issue like this is that important. #BuryTheRails

UDOT wants to purchase land to connect to connect the UP Sharp and Tintic Lines which would allow an extension of FR to Payson. The removal of grade crossings noted which again shows how big of an issue it is, even in more sparsely populated areas, let alone dense ones. #BuryTheRails

What are the plans to get local and state politicians to see the tunnel as worth the investment? @viariogrande.org is currently having to jump through many bureaucratic hurdles to #BuryTheRails despite all of the public support the Rio Grande Plan has garnered.

A busy morning on the tracks in downtown Salt Lake City. All of the trains were Union Pacific either passing through or trying to get into the intermodal yard. More reason we need to #BuryTheRails

Last night the rail crossings of 600 West, 200 South, 800 South, 900 South and 1700 South in downtown Salt Lake City were blocked by freight train stopped on the tracks for almost 2 hours. More reason we need to #BuryTheRails

My comment is a postmortem for effects the Central Pointe Construction project had on the surrounding network and how to improve for future disruptions of the same scale if not larger *cough* #BuryTheRails *cough*

I could think of an "Innovative Perspective" that has a very strong "digital story" that "engages [with] the riding public"
