Here's an oddity. A 1991 Ocean ad peddling C64 cart games. They made these for the steaming pile o' cack failure that was the C64GS console. Double the price of the cassette version for "instant loading and improved graphics?" Nah. I'll wait for the inevitable discount please.

After cancelling my subscription, I purged my Google drive today.
That's when I stumbled upon this picture from 2020 when I used to have 3 #C64GS.
I sold one since then but also built one from scratch.

Commodore 64C in 1991, which we have again these days. Would have had one earlier than that, but I had the misfortune of the C64GS coming out the year before, the ill-fated consolized version of the Commodore 64. So my parents bought me that instead. 😭
