This work is estimated to sequester at least 400,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide over the project’s lifetime.

#CAClimateInvestments programs are expected to deliver real cost savings for Californians. Incentives, rebates, and subsidies are lowering the cost of clean energy, zero-emission vehicles, and energy efficient upgrades. Some of our programs are also helping to reduce utility bills and travel costs.

The Butte County Fire Safe Council received #CAClimateInvestments $22 million from @calfire.bsky.social's Forest Health Program to restore nearly 10,000 acres of forest. The project is improving wildfire resilience and protecting the county’s rural communities.
