Turkish stocks soar to record highs as CBRT independence gets tossed to the curb
In March 2021, Erdogan fired then CBRT Governor Naci Ağbal because he didn't like his rate hikes. What followed is almost comical. Catastrophic economic mismanagement and CBRT rate hikes that dwarf anything seen under Ağbal. When will Turkey finally wake up and stop this nonsense? Truly a disaster.

Trump is leaning on the Fed to cut rates. Turkey's Erdogan did that in 2021, firing the hawkish CBRT Governor. What followed were rate cuts that sent Lira going into a devaluation spiral from which it has yet to recover. The Fed is independent for a reason.

To recap. Physics-based personal protective equipment is subject to engineering standards of proof of effectiveness—NOT pharmaceutical standards. That goes for the protective armour on a tank as well as this soldier's body armour, helmet, & CBRT (chemical, biological, radiation, nuclear) respirator
