Playing Capcom Fighting Collection 2, It's kind of infuriating that all 3 Street Fighter 3 games are still stuck in that shitty Street Fighter Anniversary Collection...At least we got Hyper Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper CFC1 and CFC2...

Playing Capcom Fighting Collection 2, It's kind of infuriating that all 3 Street Fighter 3 games are still stuck in that shitty Street Fighter Anniversary Collection...At least we got Hyper Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper CFC1 and CFC2...
I don't think the CFCs even *use* centralized servers. However, the games lack any form of crossplay, and currently there are... 13 people playing CFC1 on PC according to Steamcharts. The Collections are good and useful, but most folks online are gonna be in Fightcade.

looking at capcom fighting collection 1 makes me really sad knowing that Alpha 3 Upper got the update in CFC2 that it did but CFC1 is stuck with all the really weird shitty VSav sequels instead of just making Dee, Donovan, Oboro, Phobos and Pyron playable in VSav thru an EX setting

Honestly, the fighting collection 1 kind of fell off in favor for the convenience that is FightCade. Most of the player base online is on there simply cus of the UI and ease of access.
CFC1 is still a good package tho. When it comes to Hunter, practice mode actually works in it as opposed to FC.

I wish Capcom gave it the CFC2 Alpha 3 Max treatment, by adding the 3 missing characters and turning CFC1 Vsav into the ultimate Darkstalkers 3

Maybe I should’ve been more specific. CFC1 On Switch seemed to be inactive. I hadn’t tried it on PC or PS lately. And obviously yeah, FC2 is always gonna be active. There’s never NOT people on FC2 lol
