There is another hidden cost too: 80% of CHROs believe AI creates new “invisible” work, such as checking recommendations, correcting mistakes, adding context and dealing with exceptions, while 42% of employees say AI has actually increased their workload or created work that goes unrecognised.

That creates a fascinating contradiction because 71% of CHROs say one of the most important future skills will be the ability to supervise, validate and override AI, yet only 29% of employees currently rank judgement as important.

Post highlights a missing part of real transformations, IT often owns the tech but it is HR (&L&D!) that must own the changes to workflow, processes, procedures, & people's role (combined with expanding their capabilities). It takes a team to transform! zurl.co/sIqha

AI did not remove the work. It moved it into review and exception handling.

IBM says 80% of CHROs see this "invisible work," while 42% of employees say AI adds work or leaves it unrecognized. If people now supervise AI, change the job, training and goals to match.
