We closed out #CHWPR Policy Committee Advocacy Day yesterday at the Senate Budget Sub 3 hearing.

Our Senior Policy Coordinator Natalie Lupin and Senior Legislative Advocate Omar Altamimi spoke about the importance of the $4M ask and Committee members showed their support via public comment.

#CHWPR coalition members spent the morning doing drop-in visits to #CALeg offices to explain more about the $4 million #CABudget ask for one-time funding for CHW/P/Rs - as well as give a refresher on #Health4All coalition priorities.

Team CPEHN is here at the Capitol for the #CHWPR Policy Committee Advocacy Day.

Alongside our committee partners, we’ll be visiting legislators and speaking at the Senate Budget Sub 3 hearing to let state leaders know that funding for CHW/P/Rs must be a priority in this year’s #CABudget.
