New war mechanics? Top notch, love going to war. Commanders are a lot of fun.
The age-specific civs? Bold choice! Avoids things like Gilgamesh feeling like a generic civ once you’re past, like, chariots.
The town UI? Scribbled on construction paper in crayon.

ok so here's a civ 7 criticism that hasn't been sitting right with me and a few friends- religion in this game is super meh compared to previous civs, and i really hate that every 'belief' is based around converting other civs, and not about helping your people at all.

Federal civs swear the exact same oath of office as commissioned officers and I for one think the next dem admin needs to start holding them to it
What's fun is how the FMers, despite absolutely knowing how illegal this is, are jUsT pAsSinG iNfOrMaTiOn and acting like it's also very legal and cool that there's schemes being cooked up to just continue spending unappropriated money for MILPERS as long as this goes on
