Today was the first snow in #toronto for the season, and my mind went back to that time in 2015 I walked out of a movie at the TIFF Lightbox and it was this beautiful scene of fat snowflakes and the #TTC #CLRV streetcar that I miss to this day.

Long-retired TTC Peter Witt streetcar 2766 is seen amongst soon-to-be retired CLRV and ALRV streetcars at the Russell Barns complex in Toronto on Easter Sunday, 2019. The CLRV/ALRV cars were retired at the end of 2019 and the overhead wiring was changed to accommodate the new Flexity streetcars which run on pantographs, not trolley poles. As such, none of these vehicles can ever run on Toronto streets again using their original power equipment.
