I recently recovered the missing disk side of Amstrad CPC6128 New York Warriors from the original development disk. The game's author, Fred Williams, has now kindly given permissions for the game to be shared in all its glory!
The Amstrad CPC6128 edition of New York Warriors was released with both disk sides containing the first side, losing a whole side of levels! Lost for 36 years, author Fred Williams has kindly allowed Games That Weren't to release the lost full version:

While sorting through the attic again, I found this Amstrad CPC 6128 with some floppy disks 😀 A coworker gave it to me a long time ago.
When I have time, I'll plug it in to see if it still works. I don't remember if the floppy disk drive still worked.

The younger brother of the CPC464 and not as wide but has more ram and built in disk drive.
I think i prefer the styling of the 464 though.

First paid programming job was Turbo Pascal on DOS around 1987/88. Seeing this ad, I didn’t know it was also available for CP/M. It may then have run on my Amstrad CPC6128. Maybe.

40 years ago, Bob Maxwell's Sinclair takeover failed, Amstrad snuck out the CPC6128, Orpheus announced a Young Ones game, and US Gold signed the 1986 World Cup. Their World Cup Carnival game was actually Artic's 18-month-old World Cup Football in a new box. A shameful rip-off!
