I have a confession… I don’t usually reach for traditional epic fantasy first 😅
I tend to pack darker speculative reads w/morally gray characters.

Think 1984, Divergent, Matched, The Hunger Games, Godkiller, worlds where survival comes at a cost & mystery lurks at every turn.
