CRSPR and mRNA vaccines are going to transform cancer care.

Occasionally I venture into AI to test its limits of CRSPR ideas.

I wish they would start trying to crspr themselves again

Brain chips? Sign this waiver it’s fine. Oh you’ve got a terminal condition, we’d like to crspr the shit out of you and see what edit actually kills/saves you.

Drone me up now. I volunteer for CRSPR testing.
July 31, 2025 at 12:41 PM
Why did they even bother putting that scientist who created Crspr in jail lol

now we just gotta find out how to hit the rewind button. take the CRSPR gender vaccine or whatever

Between this and the mRNA & CRSPR stuff, the US could have been leading the medical miracles of this century.
Instead, we're stamping out vaccines and cutting penis bones out of roadkilled raccoons.

They also did genetic engineering and got CRSPR bacon

The future of policing. One paid in money, the other, now happy to accept food and water after volunteering for extensive CRSPR modification.

Bio-lab hybrid security force created from existing employees using CRSPR injection.

It's also my younger sister, who wants to do research for CRSPR as a career with hopes of developing gene-editing solutions to stuff like sickle-cell and such.

mRNA vaccines. Solar power. EVs. Fusion. Space travel and space exploration. CRSPR

#WeekendRead! #ImmunometabolismPower #SmartTumor! Jia, Zhang &co using in vivo CRSPR show @ #ScienceImmunology that in low glucose, tumor cells steal glutamine to produce antioxidant glutathione, preventing #mitochondrial mtDNA release, #STING activation, type I #IFN & CD8 T cell antitumor activity!
In vivo CRISPR screens identify the glutamine transporter SLC1A5 as a metabolic barrier to antitumor immunity
A cancer cell glutamine transporter creates a metabolic barrier to antitumor immunity.

Wait. Is using CRSPR in this way legal?
February 18, 2025 at 6:38 AM
I don’t see this as the road to greater transplantation. I believe genetically modified kidneys (CRSPR) that remove antigenicity are more likely to be a practical solution to rejection/tolerance. #NephJC

I’ve been invested in #CRSPR and #SynBio For years

Gene hackman is the kind of name Kojima would give to a crspr scientist
July 28, 2025 at 2:58 AM
Ahaha I'd kill you have Ronnie Coleman size naturally, but ill live with wjat i got until i can have someone CRSPR my genes.

What is the effector gene in this locus? Could it be cortex or any other nearby protein-coding genes? Using CRSPR-Cas9, I disrupted four candidate genes, cortex, parn, LMTK, and washout, in Bicyclus anynana butterflies. As a result, no clear changes in wing color were observed… (5/n)

#Anthropic did a monumental calculus overnight, basically.

Read the data shown This is a benefit of #LLM #AI - yet data w/o methodology to apply it is useless. #CRSPR & its ilk remain groups who can DO SOMETHING w/ the data.

These models aren't intelligence, they are very powerful calculators.

CRSPR?

The crspr gene therapies received fda approval more than a year ago but almost no one has been able to get them outside of a trial because of cost.

Yes. Visited multiple institute including IGDB. The speed of research, supported by a rich ecosystem of outsourcing of standard steps at very low cost (e.g., CRSPR edited rice lines for 100$) was impressive, but even more so the strategic approach and phenomenal vision.
