An academic forum to discuss the Bible's manuscripts and textual history from the perspective of historic evangelical theology.

Daniel B. Wallace is a Christian scholar and professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is one of the leading experts in Greek manuscripts of the New Testament and the founder of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts (CSNTM). His work focuses on photographing, cataloging, and analyzing ancient biblical manuscripts. Wallace acknowledges that we do not have the original manuscripts of the New Testament and that thousands of textual variants exist among the copies. He is a defender of the reliability of the New Testament, though he admits that scribes made accidental and sometimes intentional changes.
