No one ever says this about CSTO when a CSTO country was straight up used as a staging area by the Russians for the opening stages of the full-scale invasion
Russia's invasion made a tremendous amount of sense if you actually listened to what they said - it was about NATO expansion - and not the BS about grand imperialist ambitions rooted in the slavic psyche. It's fair to ask whether Israel's actions have any similar internal logic (I doubt it).

6/19 After russia failed to defend Armenia in 2023, Armenia chose to exit the CSTO. By not providing support, russia has rendered the CSTO ineffective. This represents a significant strategic failure for russia, as the CSTO serves as its equivalent to NATO. What a failure!
