Guessing it's from the #MountJack fire near #Sooke. But by the level of smoke, you'd think the #wildfire was more an interface fire in #CSaan.

It's twilight in the forest, and as I'm getting something outside, the distinct mewling of a baby kitten came from a dark area under the trees.
Nope. Not falling it for it.

This for sure. The waterfront has become such an amazing people-friendly third space that is a massive asset to our city. I love this story on the history of its transformation.

So apparently all my bragging about never losing power came back to bite me… 7+ hours but it’s back on now. Car incident took out power pole/lines. Not sure how, as it is a 30km construction zone? #CSaan
