For apparent context: Jason Sobczynksi has been a well known narcissist and grifter that's been banned from many organizations such as TVRM (namely stealing parts from 4501), FWRHS, EBT, Steamtown and CVSR. He's also done shady contract work with other projects.

Though it's good to see the CVSR extension is still being pursued, it's frustrating to see how Class I railroads like CSX make passenger rail expansion difficult:

I have high doubts this is gonna come into fruition, 2100 hasn’t even moved under her own power yet. If this was like a weekend event at like the CVSR then I could see it happening

And lest we forget the PUP! Horizon Rail Leasing (HZRX) 1295 is the return power for this run. The MP15DC started life as Southern Pacific 2696 and survived the UP merger before a series of ownership changes that eventually brought it here.

I'm so spoiled because my dad lives a few houses down from a depot of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park steam train, so I get so many more steam train visits and rides than the average person!

As a big sum-up, Steam in the Valley with friends was probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in recent memory. Got to see an Alco, ride 765 for the second time, ride in a limo, and generally get to enjoy life's little things.

As a big sum-up, Steam in the Valley with friends was probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in recent memory. Got to see an Alco, ride 765 for the second time, ride in a limo, and generally get to enjoy life's little things.

I have not seen or heard anything from FWRHS, or CVSR but if they have 2100 3/4 miles away why bring 765 over again? I’m sure 2100 will be ready next year.

⛈️ CVNP is still a highly spiritual place for us. It was peace between the chaos at home. I have already written in depth about the High Level bridge and its significance but we have always imagined a wedding at Brandywine Falls. We still need to have Ashe take the CVSR with us to really see the park
