That's what sharpies are for! 😂

Also, I tell the company directly in public spaces. Both the company producing those products on the cheap as well as the hotel chain - this is dumb.

If anyone is asking, this is one of a never-ending chain of examples of bad UX (User Experience). #UXFail #CXFail

Slashdot: What's the reason OneDrive tells users this setting can only be turned off 3 times a year? (And are those any three times — or does that mean three specific days, like Christmas, New Year's Day, etc.)

[Microsoft's publicist chose not to answer this question.]

I know this isn't the most important thing in the world right now, but if you're an e-commerce site and you send me a post-purchase email with a giant button that says "Track My Order," I expect to be able to click it to track my order.

Nothing makes me lose faith in humanity faster than:
1. A broken self-checkout
2. A “helpful” chatbot
3. The queue for interval drinks 🎭

Today's shitty Experience design, this is from Qantas Marketplace, when I selected Pay now.

First an unintelligible error, then a useless error.

That's after I received an SMS and email thanking me for my order. Now the page is stuck in a loading loop, as I "try again"

Today's bad-forms-that-prove-UX-is-important

- A captcha where you identify worm motions
- Submit won't work, not your fault, but you have to refresh and fill it out again
- a password it doesn't like but it won't tell you why
- a lack of logic in question

When a company emails “We value your feedback,” but the survey is 47 questions long.
That’s not feedback. That’s unpaid labour.

Here in sydney, Menulog has sadly closed, which was my preferred delivery platform because it worked quite well and wasn’t uber for uber
So I decided to look up alternatives and joined a few.
Unfortunately DoorDash has no fees for newbies but fees apply. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Another Substack issue, as with many platforms, is too many choices to manage. It just makes us want to unsubscribe all.

Also, an interface where the description repeats the label is a bad interface. #cxFail #uxFail

In their typical lack of interest in members, #Newtown #fitnessFirst decided to repair the open space of the gym on a popular day at a busy time with zero notice
Zero email notice
Zero signs in the gym
Zero customer service.

The one downside to the crashing & burning of the platform fka twitter is the lack of fast resolution to customer service issues.

A non-hypothetical example: when @lufthansa.bsky.social delivers only 1 of 2 missing bags and you’re left with no answers, no resolution, & no patience #cxfail 🤯

Shocking #CXfail at #Myer. The inability to exchange a gift with the receipt because it was purchased via click-n-collect is unacceptable in 2026. Same stemware, same size, same price, same store, but a slightly different pattern. The only option was to refund to the giver’s card. #WTAF? Do better.

When design gets in the way of usability. Seriously water bottle company, how do you expect anyone to read this product information - what font size is that? (Business card included for scale)

If you sign up to @vroomcars, they require you to give them your phone number, which will subject you to stalker-level calling all day.

ASK ME HOW I KNOW.
