When there is construction in Cambridge that narrows a road, they close down one direction for vehicles while keeping two-way travel open for bikes. That’s how you do it. @cambbikesafety.bsky.social

that barely narrows it down (though mercifully it does exclude the People’s Republic of Cambridge, my beautiful home)

This really does illustrate how anti-woke stuff really just narrows the scope of issues of concern. In our example, Newton already made it to Cambridge? Then who cares.
Apparently the test of the modern university is whether it would accommodate a seventeenth century academic exactly as he was

But there’s a 45km section with no exits from Coles Island to Petty.

Luckily, only time I drive that section I’m going or leaving Cambridge-Narrows. Almost never do Freddy to Moncton, but going to one of the other from the middle.

Pants Down Pig (Cambridge Narrows, NB):

This is a small sculpture that sits on top of a tree stump. It features a pig trying to hold its pants up, while it has a grimace on its face.

The weekend sky was overcast with a high yellow haze -- distant forest fire smoke from far north and west of here. (Rectory, Cambridge Narrows.)

"The persistence of the polarization paradigm is not a neutral choice. To describe radicalization as polarization carries conceptual, scholarly, political, and ethical risks. Each distorts how we understand democratic crisis and narrows the range of possible responses."

Cambridge South isn’t open till the end of the month, so that narrows your options. A fourth station, Cambridge East, is in development. They’re adding stations to Cambridge like toilets in that Not The Nine O’clock News sketch.

Also visited a house in Cambridge Narrows once, a beautiful NB Victorian house with a gothic peak. The current owners had pulled down every wall on the ground floor, including those around the stairs and the central hallway. It was like trying to live in a strip mall rental.

My camera in Cambridge-Narrows shows maybe 15 cm.

I haven’t cleared mine yet. Was waiting for the plow to go by one more time. Will have fun with the tractor.

I could smell smoke in Shediac, going through Moncton, I saw smoke in that general area. In Salisbury, the smell was stronger. Driving across the Cambridge Narrows bridge, I could see the smoke was wider and higher than what I saw earlier.

His family was WEALTHY, really WEALTHY. Oddly enough, his dad was originally from Cambridge Narrows NB and was the owner of a VERY successful investment firm. The party was at their house and it was massive. Three stories, with staff and the party had over 100 guests with free flowing champagne…🇨🇦

There are a few in Cambridge which are not awful. The bus stop refuge is quite large, allowing plenty of space for pedestrians to wait. There are clear crossing spots, with level access for pedestrians, and tactile paving. And the cycle lane narrows considerably which slows bikes down.
