I am once again unhappy with the quality of my camera and I do not want to spend $1500 on a new camera because that is stupid. I just want a camera that'll do well in low light and can output 4k60 over HDMI for use with a camlink. This seems like it shouldn't be all that tough, and yet...!

FUCK it was the elgato virtual camera for my camlink...
well, somehow in the last two weeks since i streamed, something changed so now whenever obs is open, my mic crackles. this is system wide and affects discord too. wtf

Hi friends. I'm trying to use my DSLR or my 4K Sony Handycam to stream. I'm using a camlink, but don't know how to keep the camera from resetting every 15 minutes.
Any tips? I'm sure it's something simple that I just don't understand.

Hello tech friends. I am trying to use a CamLink with either a Sony Handycam 4K AX53 or a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G85 as a webcam. Each one of them "resets" after being on a certain amount of time.

It does require an HDMI capture cart (like a camlink 4k), but other than that, it's exclusively free software. Once I dial it in a tiny more, I'll post a tutorial for other organizers!

As someone who works remotely, and presents from home 90% of the time, I can highly recommend getting a Sony ZV-E10, with a Viltrox 23mm F1.4, and an Elgato Prompter.
These items have made my work so much easier and more efficient.
It was only hard to figure out what hardware to buy, so here!
