Nothing cool ever happens in Canberra... Until now.

(Seriously Canberrans you should check this out.)

Bulk billing rates are going backwards in ACT and remain the lowest in 🇦🇺.

This election, I’m continuing to work with GPs and Canberrans on policies we can push for to turn this around.

Canberrans 'google symptoms' over costly GP visits, prescriptions
The ACT still has the lowest bulk-billing rates in the country.

Sack the Canberrans. No, better not do that, sounds like Campbell Newman. Let's offer voluntary redundancy. No, forget that. Natural attrition. No, not fast enough. Well done Angus comes out with migrate, the Canberrans. #ausvotes

⚡️prices are rising again- up to 10% from 1 July

Why? Expensive gas & ageing coal

Solution = investment in rooftop solar, household batteries & energy efficiency

Govt should do more to support on top of 8 suburb-wide projects xbench got up last year

ACT voluntary assisted dying scheme begins, allowing Canberrans to 'die with dignity'

#auspol
Gail wants the choice to 'die with dignity'. From today she can
From today Canberrans like Gail Ford will be able to apply for the ACT's new voluntary assisted dying scheme, which its advocates say gives dignity in death to applicants.

The only tussle I’m interested in is in getting better outcomes for the ACT.

With only two senate seats here, we need both representatives fighting hard for what matters to Canberrans.

Really welcome to see more funding promised for mental health nationally but massively disappointing that the ACT appears to have missed out once again 🤯

Improving the access & affordability of health + mental healthcare is a top priority for Canberrans

Why should people in the ACT be paying more on average to see a GP?

We need to make healthcare affordable for all Australians, including vulnerable Canberrans. The govts plan isn’t working & we need a different approach.

This will be a huge relief to the almost 5000 Canberrans who rely on Interchange for their healthcare in an already poorly serviced south.

It is so good to see the govt responding to the community’s calls and stepping in to save this service.

Healthcare - including mental healthcare - has to be affordable & accessible.

It's simply not sustainable to make Emergency Departments the defacto provider for mental health services for people on low incomes.
