#Capitalism-IS-NOT-Working
Doing your job according to your job description and not working unpaid overtime is taking a toll on bosses and undermining late-stage capitalism.

Keep it up!
Am actually losing my mind at this

The left is not silent on the alienation of capitalism and patriarchy and social media radicalizing men and profit oriented dating sites and no third spaces and an unstable future and economy leading less people to settle down and people working more

We just don’t frame it as “men not getting laid”

This kinda shows how capitalism is not working well at all...

Remember friends, Western Europe is an example of capitalism working- NOT socialism.

All the Western European democracies are capitalists economic systems.

Pass it on

And the purpose of a system is what is does. Capitalism is the transfer of wealth produced by the working class to the owning class. So they need not plan it I guess but it just feels so perfect

IDK guys not sure this capitalism thing is working out
A new report finds the bottom 60% of U.S. households—or *two-thirds* of the population—can't afford a “minimal quality of life": housing, health care, and other necessities.

"Indicators like GDP and unemployment tell us the economy is thriving. But they don’t reflect the reality of most Americans."

That is when capitalism is working exactly as intended! It is not supposed to "work" for workers. Oligarchy is capitalism functioning as intended.

capitalism is not working for us, nor for our planet

Again, none of this is to say American capitalism is awesome for working people, it manifestly is not! But we’re talking about change vs constants. And the *trends* have been more money in the pockets of lower wage earners, in real terms, over the past two years.

The capitalists hated the New Deal because it weakened their grip on the working class, not because it cost them money. Trump's economic fuckery is aimed squarely at hurting and disempowering working people, which entrenches the power of the rich, which they like.

Capitalism is a power structure!
wild that American capital just shrugged at this rather than calling up today's version of Smedley Butler. it's a new century I suppose
Breaking: The US dollar has suffered its worst first half of the year since 1973, as Donald Trump’s trade and economic policies prompt global investors to rethink their exposure to the world’s dominant currency. https://on.ft.com/4ev1ux1

The system is not broken, capitalism is working exactly as it’s designed

When ppl used to scaremonger about young people turning against capitalism, I always had the thought "if capitalism wants a better q rating, it needs to defend itself by providing for young ppl." It's the same thing w/ democracy. Trump isn't the only threat. Democracy not working is bigger.
We are on the verge of potentially having a convicted criminal and traitor become President again. We have a Supreme Court stripping away rights constantly. We have a system that can’t pass any serious legislation that is constantly under threat of shutdown. How is it working?

capitalism is a failed experiment that is driving us face forward into all of our graves (including the guys running things). there are things we can take from it that work but as is? it's actually *not working*. and it needs to change *now*.

It’s not that you’re not working hard enough.

It’s that capitalism can only exist if somebody is being exploited and unfortunately we are the somebody.

I came for the frog saunas, and stayed for the dick-punch to capitalism:

when im not working i feel so guilty capitalism is a mental illness
November 14, 2025 at 2:59 AM
increasingly I find myself working from a position of "capitalism is basically functional but capitalists must be disciplined by the state so they do not lose their minds"

Working class was turned into millet and cannon fodder to weave together global capitalism and that death count is just not held against capitalism or the Anglo world even as its sole purpose was to enrich a handful of pedophiles. Meanwhile poor and often imperiled countries have a revolution and

Just a reminder the system is working as it was designed. Capitalism requires the majority to be poor and in need in order to strengthen the desire to achive. This is a feature not a bug of Capitalism.

Fascism is a stage of capitalism, not its own separate thing. We can only fight it with working class solidarity

Under capitalism homelessness not only has to exist, it has to be as miserable as possible for the people experiencing it, because it's the threat of homelessness that keeps the working class in line and desperate for jobs. Human suffering is an essential component of capitalist profit.
A reminder that all the aspects of our economic system are made up and we can have a better system if we wanted to.

Homelessness for example. We could have an economy that builds homes for homeless people.

It does not have to be this way.

a right-wing tech billionaire running to The Free Press to lament capitalism not working for young people is the ultimate “we’re all trying to find the guy who did this” thing ever
