Gov't labs can't say "climate change" in papers, "climate security" is allowed.
Maybe those planes that drop sensors into the hurricane can be "cyclone bombers", forecasting is "climate AI", and cap & trade should be called "CarbonCoin". All key tools in the "War on Climate".

I'm not a fan of crypto either unless they are thought of as Kim Stanley Robinson envisioned in his latest books, introducing the CarbonCoin idea (mainly in his "The Ministry for the Future" book), which is to me one of the best contributions by modern Sci-fi to a envision a Protopia scenario.
