CardsForConservation day 2, card 2, and species 2 - the fishing cat, a small- to medium-sized feline living in south and southeast Asia which preys mainly on fish.

Conveniently it's also #FishingCatFebruary, as an added bonus.

Starting a new project called CardsForConservation - in other words, drawing ACEOs and selling them in order to raise money for wildlife conservation. I'll post cards over the course of this month, and put them for sale on my Ko-fi on the 28th.

This month's theme is felines. First one - a puma:

...I also see I have neglected to post the culpeo and bush dog here, so here they are! Both are very underrated South American canines, and they do deserve more attention.

Today's card - a bat-eared fox!

Fun fact: these small canines eat mostly harvester termites, and are therefore a welcome pest control.

Like the other #CardsForConservation, the drawing is for sale: ko-fi.com/beckykidus64...

I'll combine this with my #cardsforconservation project, and hope to draw 25 ACEO cards to be sold for the Ethiopian wolf conservation programme. So keep an eye out for that, and find the programme here in the meantime: www.ethiopianwolf.org
