Survey data show larger support networks, including everything from hobby groups and physical activity to home care services, were significantly associated with higher resilience in MS care partners. Connection matters.

Among 98 informal caregivers of people with MS, higher resilience tracked with better quality of life and lower caregiver burden. Personality mattered, too, as neuroticism pulled resilience down while extroversion and conscientiousness lifted it.

October seems like a long time to wait for a mass this size that could continue to grow rapidly. Can they scan you in a 3-4 weeks to ensure it is not actively growing? Hopefully your scan showed no masses anywhere in the abdomen. I am a carepartner for my husband who has stage 4 colorectal cancer.
