IMPORTANT UPDATE: This guy is no longer the only North Carolinian to cast a ballot from Antarctica. According to state board of elections records, a woman from Pittsboro returned a ballot from the Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station on October 23.
A million North Carolinians have voted in this year’s election. One of them—just one!—cast a ballot from Antarctica.
