ALRIGHT! NES cartride connector replacement is installed and seems to be working great! The screw holes were threaded slightly too big, so I lined the inside with a thin layer of UV resin and treated it with my gel nail UV lamp! That did the trick!
Next is this Famicom which needs a new transistor.

The other problem is the after sale patches. The game you bought today on disc/cartride may or may not be what the "final" game ends up being. So saving/dumping these is great, but the "full" game being preserved takes a lot of work from people much brighter than me. Preserve all versions of games.

It is a very deep rabbit hole, lined with awesome. Don't let anyone get you started with glass-nib pens or you may never get out. I have expensive pens with the cartride-fillers and the fancy inks, and I have disposable ones I can carry in my purse without making a mess of things.

The ink refill kit worked!!!!!
You can drill the hole on top to fill from top but for this kind of cartride you can just fill it from the bottom..

They don't come with converters, but they each have a cartridge inside filled with ink that's *essentially* the same color as the barrel. It's a 2.6mm bore diameter cartride with thicker plastic like most Chinese pens use, so you could *mayyyybe* use a standard international cartridge.
