graduating u.s. public school circa y2k meant having finished this weird broken road of extremely modern teaching methods, interrupted with hours of such as watching a reel to reel Centron film about how to be a kid in 1963
yeah I was in my 6th grade teacher's first class, it was full of that kind of cutting edge early 90s teaching theory
really nice after a couple years of teachers who still had their 1957 haircuts and did a lot of shouting

Just learned that musician Jim Stringer, who contributed to the Centron shorts seen on many episodes of MST3K, has passed away.
His family has commented that they plan to celebrate his life with music and laughter. Let's honor Jim by following their lead.

Great film. Herk Harvey went on to found the Centron Company that made thousands of industrial training films for both the military and private corporations, and kept a lot of young actors working before they went on to become stars.
