EPA aren't thrilled about this.

"Much of the information amplified by Maha...falls under a 'wave of chemophobia'....Hearing [that pesticides are used safely] directly from a farmer 'does something a fact sheet can’t.'"

No water, no energy, it's been almost two hours. They've got us like martyrs.

This does not help my chemophobia.

I'm getting really peeved.
Apparently Tachirenses have been protesting since yesterday, asking for elections, and that's why they're martyr-ifying us by cutting the energy off for several hours a day now.

And they're still doing it. It's pissing me off.

Finding the safest and most sustainable way to produce food is absolutely key.

But this is a good example of how public opinion often based on what seems to be a vibe, fearmongering, chemophobia, and wellness influencer noise.

More And More People Suffer From 'Chemophobia' - And MAHA Is Partly To Blame
If you’ve ever muttered to yourself, “I should really get the organic peaches,” or “I need to replace my old makeup with ‘clean’ beauty products” or “I really want to buy the “non-toxic’ laundry detergent,” you may have fallen into the chemophobia trap, an almost inescapable phobia that’s infiltrating lots of homes. American milk is banned because the commonly used bovine growth hormone is considered risky for mastitis, so a wellness concern for the animals.
American bread is NOT considered cake.
Ugh, I'm sick of this phoney "wellness chemophobia rage bait."

"Chemophobia" is too broad. Yea people probably overreact but we have rivers that give you cancer because we used to just dump all that shit in the water supply. I'm rightfully scared of many chemicals I interact with.

It's about 50% this, 50% regular old chemophobia brainworms.
hot take but i think a lot of people actually want there to be some kind of horrible health hazard associated with GLP-1 meds because their existence challenges their protestant ethic-esque philosophy of bodies
