Anyhoo...I figured out @ChicagosMayor 2026 @ChicagoBudget buried a 20-30% increase in all liquor license and probably all other business licenses in their 2026 revenue estimates.

Not a word in his budget press releases though. 🤔💸

It’s the holiday season and our Chicago Alders want to give us the “gift” of privatized debt collection. Have they not learned from the failures of Chicago’s privatization past? Privatized debt collection is proven harmful and destructive. #ChicagoBudget

Mayor Johnson has sent a proposed budget to the City Council for review, and CWTA supports that budget in principle.

CWTA supports a budgeting process that provides needed services to working families.
