Starmer’s position is entirely consistent with what he wrote about Iraq in 2003, a fact of enormous inconvenience to just about everybody currently criticising it. Happily for them, just like the entire bloody Chilcot Inquiry it is apparently very easy to ignore.

I would urge the public to notice that the Epstein scandal to Epstein death happened roughly 2016-2019 and to *put two and two together about what has happened here*, not least because there are now articles about how Britain is being run by the Tony Blair Institute for Change.

Way beyond military strategy & operations this checklist makes sense
Like any critical situation though the emotional urge maybe to think it’s a unique crisis & you should throw out the rules, my learning from Critical Care in health is that in crises you lean into what you’ve learnt not panic away
