Literally there are conversion therapy manuals that start with isolating your child from all potential sources of safeguarding and supportive information and cutting them off from unmonitored internet access so they can find the number for ChildLine while you're not watching is right up there.
A lot of the “kids online safety” proponents actually are anti-LGBTQ extremists and fundamentalists who want kids to have less freedom and don’t care if that actually makes them tremendously less safe too

Esther Rantzen, the Bafta-winning TV presenter and founder of ChildLine, has died aged 86.
She announced a diagnosis of stage four lung cancer in 2023, and became a vocal campaigner to reform the law around assisted dying. In September 2026, she announced that she had to abandon plans to end her life in Swiss clinic Dignitas, due to being too physically frail. Continue reading...

Esther Rantzen has died. I only knew her through my MiL- they worked together for some time- but she founded Childline, which is a wonderful resource and something I wish many more places had a version of. Sending love to her family.

‘Gender critical’ transphobes are not nice (or decent) people!
Regardless of "gender ideology" being a made up reactionary catch all, you cannot wipe an idea off the planet, only people. Ultimately, this is a statement of genocidal intent.

How can Esssesssess "reclaim" the Hippocratic oath? He's not a doctor, he got kicked off his course, got kicked out of Childline for trying to impose his beliefs on kids and even fucking Grok admits he has no qualifications related to any of this

Esther Rantzen's life should be remembered not only for highlighting the unsung work of the amazing Nicholas Winton but also for the founding of ChildLine.

How do you find yourself blocking your child’s access to CHILDLINE and not realise you’re the problem. This is chilling.
Earlier this year Bayswater's internal forums were exposed where evidence was uncovered of parents preventing their kids from accessing rape crisis and child line in case their gender identity might be affirmed. This is an organised child abuse network.

Besides Childline (obvs), that clip of Esther Rantzen getting arrested for obstruction is my favourite thing of hers. The way she rather sardonically responds in that slightly posh put upon way is hilarious. Especially sticking her head out the window.
