Lesbian Lumberjack just Canadian "tomorrow'd" HARD. Her old af grandpa is driving her to the airport or whatever and she asks him to check in on Young Dad while she's gone. Old AF Grandpa says "People grieve in different ways" WHAT A SURPRISE; HER MOM IS DEAD!!!! #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Also, you know how many lesbian jokes I make in just *regular* #Flansmas threads? Well, if you think I am not going to make approximately 12 billion MORE of them during a movie where a woman enters A LUMBERJACK CONTEST, then you are sadly mistaken!!! #ChristmasInTheRockies

Old Dude is her grandfather and he and Young Dad have Drama™️, but I'm not sure if Old Dude is Young Dad's dad or Lesbian Lumberjack's dead mom's dad (there is ZERO chance that her mom isn't dead). #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Hold on a minute; I am making tea and attempting to RE-REGULATE MY NERVOUS SYSTEM. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.

#ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Omfg Lesbian Lumberjack hasn't lumberjack'd in years so HOT FRIEND IS GOING TO TRAIN HER!!! 🥵 Is this a fucking fanfic?!? This is literally like if The Hunting Wives took place in the Rockies.

#ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Okay; tonight's #Flansmas feature is one that I've been looking forward to ever since I read its synopsis, which is CRIMINALLY stupid. It also has a 3-star review on IMDb that the reviewer has simply titled "Icky," so that's exciting. Grab your axe and get ready for #ChristmasInTheRockies! 🪵🪓

You guys, holy shit: the most dramatic thing I have EVER seen happen in one of these goddamned movies JUST HAPPENED! So as they're driving, a shit-ton of ambulances come from the opposite direction, and Lesbian Lumberjack is all "This road ONLY GOES to the sawmill! TURN BACK!" #ChristmasInTheRockies

A lesbian is lying on her back on a RED AND BLACK PLAID BLANKET in the snow. We learn from a conversation with her dad (who says "I am an old man") that she is leaving The Rockies for a job in New York City with FUCKING PFIZER!!! WHAT?!? FUCK PFIZER ALL THE WAY TO HELL!!! #ChristmasInTheRockies

You guys, this was such a great #Flansmas movie that I honestly didn't care that most of the actors were well above average for these things, which is usually my #1 gripe. This film transcended decent acting. That's it for #ChristmasInTheRockies! If anyone knows Hot Friend, please have her call me.

There was just a shot of them standing in front of the worst green screen I have ever seen, so that took the edge off a little. But Jesus fucking CHRIST, movie. Damn. #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Cut to her waking up super early, which is homophobic. Now there's a training montage with Old AF Grandpa?! WHERE IS HOT FRIEND?! Lesbian Lumberjack is out of practice and kind of sucks MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY MAKING OUT WITH YOUR FRIEND ABOUT IT. #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Paramedic Guy says he wants to start an outdoors camp for kids with her? What? She's like "You're great, but I have to focus on other things" (read: this hetero fling is just a phase). They almost smooch, but his Paramedic Phone rings. #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Also, besides Pfizer not giving her EVEN *ONE* DAY'S GRACE when her FUCKING DAD almost died THAT MORNING, let's appreciate the fact that a man who nearly lost HIS FUCKING LEG was discharged from the hospital HOURS after arriving 🤣 Like it's still business hours in New York. #ChristmasInTheRockies

Lesbian Lumberjack is showing him around and their chemistry is FINE but WHERE👏IS👏HOT👏FRIEND👏??? Both of these people are totally competent actors but this is a rare instance where the plot is so dumb that I don't actually mind the actors being good. #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Now Young Dad is yelling at her for trying to be a lumberjack, which, fair. He also yells at Old AF Grandpa for training her, and then BLAMES HIM FOR HIS WIFE'S DEATH BECAUSE HE RAISED HER TO WANT TO DO LUMBERJACK SHIT (she died in a doing-lumberjack-shit accident). #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas

Lesbian Lumberjack looks at where Paramedic Guy is sitting, and then looks back at her phone. The scene cuts before we hear her answer WHAT A BOLD NARRATIVE CHOICE! Cut to the two of them at dinner. She tells him she took the job FUCK YOU, BOLD NARRATIVE CHOICE!! #ChristmasInTheRockies #Flansmas
