I did not encounter many arthropods this year that were red and green for a #ChristmasMacro. Of those I did encounter, I choose to share this focus stack of Loxa flavicolis, the Spined Green Stink #Bug 😁

A focus stacked photo of the front of a bright green stink bug resting on light blue colored house siding. The Face and forebodyof the stinkbug form an inverted triangular shape with the sides of the triangle ending in spines that are colored bright red, a thin line of that red color descends to the small eyes which are pale gray colored. The bug's thin legs are spread to either side of the body gripping the siding.
