In 2020, North Carolina's State Supreme Court Chief Justice was a Black woman who was a former public defender. She lost by 401 votes to a Christofascist who relitigated cases to give the Rs an advantage. That's four votes per county! Every door and phone call could be those needed votes!
There will likely be a race today -- maybe more than one -- that's decided by a handful of votes, perhaps even just one.
