Someone on here said the other day that today's movements don't sing because the Civil Rights era songs were all Christian church songs.
Respectfully, that's bullshit. I've just posted a bunch that are not churchy. We don't have the same caliber of songs because of the decentering of Black folk.

My town is a small boat and horse town (pop. 12k), trends white and churchy, so I was expecting to see a dozen or so people in a small huddle. Not hundreds lining the road on all four corners. #HandsOff
