In the original Civ1 it was always quite funny how opting for Communism gave you a big competitive advantage for much of the later stages of the game

no. civ1 used signed integers and aggressiveness went from 1 to 3. gandhi has a 1.
all the ais in Civ 1 will use nuclear weapons if they have them because there is no reason for them to not do it.

Purée, je me souviens y avoir joué des heures carrées (je devais avoir 10 piges). Tout en ne comprenant globalement pas grand chose... 😅
(Civ1, j'étais plus grand, c'est passé un peu plus facilement...)

The moment I am happy I picked JSON to store the maps in game and spent significant amount of time on building the map editor in tinygenerals.com. Now GeoJSON + short tweaking session and... 80x72 which is bit more than Civ1 - in your browser
