Remember all those different photo-sharing-with-a-short-url services, like imgur? That basically only existed as a hackaround for the fact that Twitter didn't host downloads? (And that's before Twitter itself started wrapping everything in t dot co clicktracking.)

I have various ways to by-pass clicktracking, etc. Maybe you'd be interested?

One of them is to plug in an address to this site which goes through the redirects and spits out the final link:
wheregoes.com

Is it a "bit.ly" address? Add a + to the end & it'll tell you where it goes w/o the redirect.

An organization I volunteer with has just involuntarily added me to their Constant Contact contact list.

FFS, people. Don't do this shit, especially when you probably haven't even read their TOS.

Can you use AWS's Amazon SES to send a mailing list all by itself?

It's got contact list management, templates for email, automated unsubscribe/bounce handling, and open rate measurement, and clicktracking. So you'd think... yay!
